We present two videos about BAUXITE MINING and its effects on the Jarrah Forest and climate change.

PART 1 – The first speaker is BASIL SCHUR, (a Senior Project Manager with Green Skills.inc), who was active in the Campaign to Save Native Forests (CSNF) in the 1980’s and 1990’s. Basil was awarded the 2021 National Landcare Award. He has dedicated four decades to restoring the environment and protecting biodiversity through Green Skills WA, Gondwana Link and establishing the Denmark Wetlands Centre.

PART 2BILL HARE presents his speech. Bill is an internationally respected physicist and climate scientist with 30 years’ experience in science impacts and policy responses to climate change and stratospheric ozone depletion. He was active in the Campaign to Save Native Forests (CSNF) in the late 1970’s and 1980’s.
